"Four Clans" Bright Spirit Sun Mask "SOLD"
Radiating life-giving light, warmth and energy, ‘Bright Spirit’ is the happy sun that cheers up the world. All the crest characters are sculpted into the rays extending form the sun face. Raven, (on top as always) the Eagle, Orca and Wolf represent the 4 crests of my tribe. Copper in the eyes represents the value of visions and insight (copper being the most valued possession of the chiefs) and the mastodon ivory teeth symbolize the importance of ancient traditions. The Wolf is the only Life Crest character with ivory teeth because he is instrumental forming the expression of the sun’s mouth. Bill carved the sun out of Red Cedar the measurements are 32" in height by 32" in width by 8" in depth.
